Nice to meet you I'm Keren, an industrial designer.
The design of Roota began during a factory tour, when I came across a large container with a huge amount of plastic tubes. "These are rejects, you're welcome to take a few". From that moment, with a tube in my hand, I knew something will emerge. Later on I developed the product and asked the factory for more of their waste. I've learnt that every year several tonnes of these tubes were being shredded and made into grade 2 plastic.
