Nice to meet you I'm Keren, an industrial design student.
The design of Roota began during a factory tour, when I came across a large container with a huge amount of plastic tubes. "These are rejects, you're welcome to take a few". From that moment, with a tube in my hand, I knew something will emerge. Later on, joined by my partner Arnon, we developed the product and asked the factory for more of their waste. We learnt that every year several tonnes of these tubes were being shredded and made into grade 2 plastic.
